New glasses, new teeth, and new cameras...

Annie FINALLY got her glasses yesterday afternoon.  It was an aggravating 2 week ordeal involving missed orders, missed shipments, bad lenses, etc.  The optical shop did made it up to us by having the optician hand deliver them to us and do the fitting here at the house.

I also finally got a replacement camera and it arrived today.  So between the glasses and the camera I have taken several hundred photos.  The kids are no doubt wondering what the new contraption attached to mommy's face it...

Annie is doing well with the glasses.  There is a soft strap that goes around the back of her head to help keep them on.  She leaves them alone for the most part.  Only when she is tired and trying to rub her eyes or snuggle does she notice them and get aggrivated.  We'll have to learn when to take them off in the evening to avoid that.  Mikie and Eli are also doing well.  Today when they were sitting in their feeding table Mikie studied and studied her and then smiled.  No attempts to rip them from her face...yet. 

She has been all smiles since we put them on yesterday.  Very definitely more aware of her surrounding and tuned in to what is happening beyond her.  Awesome to see!  Today she stood on the back of the couch looking out the window for quite some time.  It is a favorite activity of her brothers but usually just made her mad.  Now, every time a car or person would go by she would get excited, start panting and "chatting."  I wish, wish, wish I knew what was going on in her little head!

And lastly, little Annie has her first tooth!  Yippee!!!
