Annie - up to 3 pounds 14 oz. We hope to leave the 3's behind by the end of the week! Graduated to a "big girl" crib yesterday and has been maintaining her body temperature well since then. Has not had any spells in 4 whole days and has been taken off of her daily caffeine dose. This afternoon daddy will give her her first tub bath. Took her first whole bottle for momma this morning (and she did it in under 15 minutes)! This girl rocks!!!
Eli - up to 4 pounds 10 oz. Officially has a double chin. Love it! Graduated to an open air ("big boy") crib 2 days ago and is doing well with it. He is also off of his caffeine but continues to have occasional quick spells. Momma gave him his first tub bath yesterday and he loved it. After a 4 day "break" from taking bottles he will try taking one this afternoon.
Michael - up to 4 pounds 6 oz. Like his sister he left his isolette behind yesterday. He has had NO spells since coming off of his caffeine 2 days ago. Yea Mikie!!! Momma gave him his first tub bath this morning and as she predicted, he hollered all the way through it. Is it bad that I laughed at him? It was so cute! This afternoon he also will be offered a bottle for the first time in 4 days.
Having the kids closer to home as proven to be as fantastic as we imagined it would be. Not only are we able to spend more time with them, but the staff are motivated to get us home as quickly (and safely) as possible.
The children look beautiful!!! We are so pleased that they are enjoying their new home closer to home! Love you guys:)
